I’m always looking for ways to make healthier versions of some of my childhood favorites.

This no bake homemade Snicker chocolate bar recipe is naturally sweet, and you only need a handful of pantry ingredients to get started.

Snickers are delicious peanut butter chocolate bars with a nougat layer, topped with peanut caramel sauce, and covered in a chocolate topping.

The No bake homemade snicker chocolate bar is the perfect treat to fulfill your sweet craving! I just can’t help myself: “Hungry? Why wait? Grab a (vegan) Snickers!”

These homemade Snickers bars have become a favorite guilty pleasure of mine. Better than store-bought Snickers!

Once you make them, you can keep them in the fridge or freezer and eat them as often as you’d like.

Notes

Chocolate:

I recommend using a bar of dairy-free chocolate for this recipe, as it will melt into a smoother consistency.

You can use chocolate with a lower cacao percentage for more of a milk chocolate flavor, or use a higher percentage of dark chocolate for a less-sweet flavor.

I recommend using a chopped-up chocolate bar for this recipe unless you can guarantee that your chocolate chips are wax-free (which manufacturers are not required to disclose on the food label).

If you do opt to use chocolate chips and find the mixture to be too thick, add 1-3 teaspoons of refined coconut oil while melting to thin it out.

Nut-free:

If you cannot eat peanuts due to an allergy or preference, you can substitute the peanut butter with any nut or seed butter of your choice – the same goes for the whole nuts in the bars.

The final result will taste different, but still, be delicious! I would recommend cashew or almond butter.

Maple syrup:

Be sure that the maple syrup is at room temperature. If it’s cold from the refrigerator, the chocolate will thicken up and could be more difficult to spread.

Let's dive into how you can make these delicious chocolate bars at home.
